Frank DePew, Principal & CEO
Frank DePew serves as CEO and President of Urban Grid Holdings, LLC. He brings valuable experience to the Urban Grid team in terms of fund management, investment planning, project financing and contract negotiation. He was formerly a pension advisor at the Life of Virginia prior to founding the Mid-Atlantic Pension Group (MAPG) in 1991. MAPG was a pioneer in daily valuation and later telephone and internet access to accounts for participants. MAPG was recognized for three consecutive years (1996-1998) as a KPMG rising 25, one of the 25 fastest growing companies in the Richmond Virginia Metropolitan area based on 5 year growth rates. In August 1998 MAPG along with 8 other pension firms was acquired by ABR Information Systems and Frank served as President of the combined company, ABR Retirement Plan Services, Inc. He concurrently served as CEO of ABR Investment Advisors, Inc. Following an acquisition of ABR by Ceridian Corporation in 1999, Frank served as President of Ceridian Retirement Plan Services, Inc. He retired from Ceridian in late 2000 to become an independent investor involved in various market and entrepreneurial transactions. In 2003, he founded Chesapeake Smart Homes, a high-end theatre and home automation company. In 2010, Frank became involved in the solar development business, starting Urban Grid Solar of Maryland, and during 2011 founding Urban Grid Holdings, LLC. Frank is a graduate of the University of Richmond and further studied toward a PhD at SUNY Stony Brook.

Ken Gorvy, Principal & CFO
Ken Gorvy brings more than twenty-five years of experience in finance, strategy evaluation, capital formation, operations, business planning and financial management to Urban Grid Holdings, LLC. Prior to joining Urban Grid, Ken served as the CFO, Senior VP and financial advisor of public, private and emerging growth companies. He worked in various markets, including business services, technology, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution, and retail products segments. One of Ken's highlighted achievements was raising over $50 million in venture capital for numerous early-stage companies. Ken's capacity for contract due diligence and negotiation services is critical to Urban Grid's transaction intensive business strategy. Ken graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, received his Chartered Accountant Certification in South Africa and became a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
