Job Summary
Employee will provide analytical support for the Urban Grid Financial Group as well as the Urban Grid Solar Sales Team. Employee will be responsible for helping to create and maintain project financial models that maximize investor return and provide ideal structure. Financial Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining a database of investors to include various project parameters as well as creating marketing materials and collateral to expand current investor base. Employee will also be responsible for supporting the sales team on financial analysis. Financial analyst will also perform market and incentive research to identify potential new opportunities for sales guidance. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President at Urban Grid.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performing quantitative analysis including project specific modeling
Conducting solar market and project specific research
Develop project specific financial models to determine ideal structure and return
Create solar investment group marketing materials, pitches and collateral
Create and maintain investment client database, research new investment client opportunities
Support sales staff as needed
Skills and Specifications
Strong analytical, financial modeling and writing skills
Strong organizational skills and adaptability, with previous experience managing multiple and often competing priorities
Professional appearance, effective interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other computer software
Extensive Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Financial Modeling Training (Training the Street or Similar) (Preferred)
Education and Experience
1-3 years of experience in investment banking, finance, or accounting and/or internship experience in investment banking and/or Corporate Finance will be considered
Bachelor's Degree from a top-tier undergraduate university, preferably in Finance or Accounting
